It’s About Time

I have a dear friend – he also happens to be a fellow board member and business partner – and he is very sick right now. He’s only 20 years old and for those of you that know him, you know how extraordinary Chris is.

Last night he was unresponsive after a difficult procedure and I didn’t know if he would make it through the night.

If you’ve ever been in a similar moment than you understand what it feels like to hope for more time.

But here’s the thing about time...

Time is a gift. It’s not something that you’re entitled to and no matter how hard you try - you can’t control it. You can’t make it go backwards and you can’t stop it. The only thing you can do is to choose how you spend the time you’re given.

And who you spend it with.

So when you’re on your Zoom calls today and you’re just feeling like you’re barely holding it together trying to get through another day during this pandemic and everything that’s going along with it...remember that the time we have RIGHT NOW, regardless of how we perceive it, holds the same value as any other time that we will ever have.

Some questions that I’m going to start considering:

How will I appreciate my time more?
How will I celebrate my time?
How will I make it count?

Until next time...

Stay Positive & Covid Negative,
Paul
